Who is Galvez?

Bernardo de Galvez, the revered Spanish general, and his troops defeated the British at the Siege of Pensacola in 1781, reconquered Florida for Spain. Galvez is only the eighth person granted honorary U.S. citizenship and one of six to be honored posthumously.
